The purpose of electrical strength (also called Hi-Pot test) is to verify the electric strength of insulating materials used within the
equipment are adequate.
Requirement
Table 3 describe the differences between these three standard. The equipment under test shall not exhibit any sign of arc or
breakdown during the 1 minute test.
